Toyo Ink started its operation in the Philippines in 1976. Toyo Ink was then engaged in the business of selling quality pigments, laminating adhesives, petrolite waxes and other chemicals practically all coming from Japan. Due to the company’s objective to go into worldwide manufacturing and selling of its products, Toyo Ink incorporated a company, which is registered with the Securities Exchange Commission as Toyo Ink (Philippines) Co., Inc. Primarily, we are in the manufacturing of gravure inks. We are required by customers to make inks compatible with the different substrates the customers are using. It is our policy to assure customers of the quality and resistance of our products during primary and post processing like printing, laminating, slitting, heat and sealing of pouches, retorting and more importantly, the resistance of the ink to various chemicals and to the content of the packages.
