We are hiring for the position of Home-Based Senior Accountant with full time working hours for our company office, Delegate CX, for residents of Pampanga (Angeles City) and its neighboring areas.

Candidates with expertise in Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting and at least a Bachelor's/College Degree & Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) or higher are highly needed. The candidates criteria we are looking for must be trustworthy and disciplined, because our business values a professional and competitive work environment.

Our company provides a competitive salary range of ₱50,000 - ₱60,000, which can be adjusted at the discretion of HRD in our company. This range naturally varies depending on how proficient the candidate credibility can be offered.

As a Home-Based Senior Accountant, you will be an integral member of our accounting department. You will assume a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial operations. Take ownership of closely adhering to established accounting processes while leveraging your expertise to drive process improvements. 

This role promises a dynamic work experience with a variety of daily tasks, necessitating adaptability, and flexibility. Your strong attention to detail will be pivotal in upholding the precision of our financial reporting and ensuring compliance. Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively collaborating with your peers. Excel under pressure, meeting deadlines with efficiency to uphold our high standards of excellence. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary reviewer of all company payables and expense reports with a high level of attention to detail. 
  • Monitors timeliness and accuracy of vendor payments for the US and Philippines entities. 
  • Complies with the company’s payable processes and vendor’s payment terms. 
  • Establishes and maintains an accrual schedule for known payables. 
  • Prepares a month-end schedule to support financial statements including prepaid expenses, unapplied supplier payments, accounts payable, and accrued expenses. 
  • Documents and refine accounts payable-related processes. 
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. 
  • Performs other accounting duties and supports junior staff as required or assigned. 
  • Performs tasks analogous to the foregoing.

Role Details

  • Industry: Outsourcing
  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (USA) 
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA) 
  • Written and spoken English skills: Very Proficient 
  • Salary Range: PHP 50,00 – 60,00 

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision. 
  • Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude. 
  • Ability to lead and encourage teammates and junior staff to meet deadlines. 
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. 

Additional Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.  
  • Experience: 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience. 
  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook.  
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. 
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP. 
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required. 
  • Workday knowledge is a plus but not required.
