Job Scope:
Responsible in identifying and analyzing areas of potential risk, threatening integrity of the financial reports, reliability of financial figures and the completeness of information in the financial statement. It is in-charge in gathering and analyzing data for inconsistencies, emphasizing fraud or weaknesses in the internal controls; and recommending further improvements to the management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists drafting of the audit program per engagement according to the identified risk factors or to the annual planned engagement or as directed by the management
- Conducts clear documentation and validates the accuracy of data/information to resolve inconsistencies
- Analyzes data in order to draw conclusions and identify “cause and effect” relationships to recommend a course of action or solve issues
- Proposes solutions to address constraints or opportunities uncovered during data gathering & analysis
- Conducts discussion on audit findings & recommendation with other departments and report significant issues to financial audit manager.
Job Specification:
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technician, Internal Audit or its equivalent
- Number of years of relevant work experience:
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience specializing in Financial reporting, in retail industry or related courses
