The Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Functional Support Engineer (Senior Tier 3) is responsible for providing complex issue support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving escalated cases, and collaborating with the Dynamics Support team and clients to define requirements and prioritize work. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and knowledge of data integration tools and Office 365 administration. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required for this senior-level position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop, modify and implement applications and systems across the Microsoft Dynamics stack to deliver best-in-class solutions for client business operations.
  • Maintain and support solutions by addressing issues and determining the need for enhancements. Provide guidance to other members of the support team where appropriate.
  • Develop sustainable business relationships with our client base, gaining increased knowledge of business needs and challenges to help implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with Dynamics Support team, the Avtex solution architects team, and clients to define requirements and estimating effort for use in planning and prioritizing their work.
  • Create and maintain documentation for development, integration, and migration projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cases escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform space.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
