We are hiring for candidates in the residents of Benguet (Baguio City) & Isabela and the surrounding regions, we are open recruitment for the positions as Restaurant Manager (SM Baguio, SM Cauayan) in our business office, Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI).

Candidates with a Bachelor's/College Degree or even higher and greatly experienced in Hotel/Restaurant & Food/Beverage/Restaurant are especially required. We can offer you a salary that is generally between ₱30,000 - ₱31,000, which is competitive and reasonable. But no need to be worry! If you are beyond our expectations and dedicated to bringing our company to be much better with the credibility that you can offer, the salary range is negotiable and also can be changed according to our company HRD agreement.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be in-charge of the following responsibilities:
Leads to ensure that the entire store is fully prepared and the store team is ready for the shift
Ensures that excellent service and hospitality are delivered to each guest by setting and sustaining a fun, positive and energetic shift
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, which includes the dining area, restroom, kitchen and preparation areas as well as the exterior of the store in cases applicable, and the good working condition of all equipment
Sales Building / Marketing Management
Effectively implements local restaurant marketing programs to drive trials and create repeat business. Leads and coaches Food Servers in selling new products and promotions to guests.
Develops positive relationships that will create loyalty among guests. Conceptualizes and implements local marketing programs that reward frequent patrons, strengthening their loyalty to the brand and the frequency of their visits
Increases the store’s average check by coaching, monitoring and recognizing Food Servers in executing salesmanship techniques such as suggestive selling and up-selling
Devices and implements programs that encourage guests to bring more friends/family members to the restaurant
Profitability Building / Financial Management
Generates the Menu Item Sales Report and analyze it. Ensures the quantity of product items sold matches with sales and other non-sale items (e.g. promo, On-US) and that these transactions are adequately supported with necessary documents (OS, promo slips, OR, etc.)
Oversees the complete and accurate recording of Stations Reports on a daily basis. As the closing MOD, checks the reports, analyzes it and makes immediate and necessary actions to address variances versus targets
Coordinates with the Restaurant Service Coordinator to make the necessary adjustment in work schedules of Restaurant Staff to match the need of the shift. This is true but not limited to cases when projected sales for the Shift do not happen (e.g. Overtime, Broken Time, Special Tasks during non-peak hours)
Plans, to recognize performers and provide updates on relevant developments and critical matters needing emphasis
Qualifications:To apply for the role, here are the requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management or any 4-year course related to Hospitality or Food Service Operations
- Preferably with relative experience as Restaurant Manager / Branch Manager in Food-Beverage Services Iindustry
- Knowledgeable and Experienced in various Restaurant Operations Facets
- Must be able to perform Profit and Loss Report Generation and Analysis

The Shakey’s Pizza brand and concept was brought into the Philippines by San Miguel Corporation via its subsidiary company International Family Foods Services, Inc. (IFFSI). IFFSI, who owned the franchise right for the country, began the task of growing the brand and awarded the first franchise right to a company called Golden Pizza, Inc. (GPI) owned and headed by Mr. Leopoldo L. Prieto, Sr. On March 15,1975, GPI opened the very first Shakey’s store in the Philippines in Makati Avenue; Ayala Center.
This first ever Shakey’s branch with its great tasting & crisp pizzas, unique chicken and mojos tandem, flowing cold draft beer, cheerful service, and fun atmosphere, became an instant hit in Manila. This first store paved the way for many more very successful branches that eventually made Shakey’s to be known as the Home of the Original Thin Crust Pizza and The World’s Greatest Pizza and has become a household name that it is today.
Over the years, Shakey’s was not spared from economic set – backs and societal change but we have proven that we’re a force to be reckoned with since our rise to success in 2003. We’ve continued to be at the forefront of the business by building one store after the other in key cities nationwide, increasing in sales, profit and eventually breaking industry records by being the first food chain to achieve Double-Digit growth in 14 years consecutive years.
