The Department of Trade & Industry is responsible for realizing the country’s goal of globally competitive and innovative industry and services sector that contribute to inclusive growth and employment generation. DTI Region 11 is composed of five provinces—Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental and Compostela Valley; and six cities—Davao City, Tagum City, Island Garden City of Samal, Panabo City, Mati City, and Digos City.

The DTI-XI facilitates and assists in the formulation and development of regional, provincial, and municipal investments and trade policies;implementation of investment and trade promotion initiatives of the office in coordination with the local government units of the province; and provides consultancyand extension services to the clients.
