Megason Diagnostic Clinic

Megason Diagnostic Clinic was established in July of 1992. The first branch was opened in Sampaloc, Manila; it initially offered diagnostic ultrasound service but because of the patients’ demand for other diagnostic modalities, x-ray, laboratory and ECG were made available. Pre-employment and annual medical examinations were also included in the line of services. One of the first clients was Chowking Food Corporations of which pre-employment medical examination was one of the services rendered.

The following year saw another opportunity to open a branch in Makati City; it also offered the same services as the one in Manila. The old location was in second floor of an old building along Pasong Tirad, Barangay Tejeros and later on transferred to J.P. Rizal Avenue near corner Pasong Tamo to make it more convenient for the patients, especially the elderly and the pregnant ones. It boast of a regular number of referring doctors from the nearby areas covering Makati City and parts of Sta. Ana, San Andres and Paco, Manila.

Other branches soon followed: Mandaluyong branch located at Boni Ave which is in front of Mandaluyong City Medical Center, Quezon City branch located at Novaliches and another branch in Barangay Comembo, Makati City near Pateros. A branch in Laguna has been added in Sta. Rosa. Another clinic was opened in Lipa City, Batangas though under another name, Megalab, which caters to the Southern Tagalog region. Later, Megason chain of diagnostic clinic was added up in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal which is called Megason-Link Diagnostic Clinic, a sister company of Megason. This caters to the residents of Taytay and nearby towns like Cainta and Angono Rizal. Two branches soon followed: one in Alabang, Muntinlupa and one in Masinag, Antipolo City.

This 2008, two more branches were recently opened under another name which is People’s Choice Diagnostic Center and Polyclinic located at Anonas, Quezon City and Lower Bicutan, Taguig, sister company ofMegason. At present, it has a total of eleven outlets which are strategically situated to cover Metro Manila and Southern Tagalog.
