Vivant Corporation is a publicly-traded company listed under the Philippine Stock Exchange with holdings focused on energy generation and distribution services. Its flag-bearer, the Visayan Electric Company, Inc. (VECO) operates the country’s second largest electric utility servicing the greater part of Metro Cebu and five other municipalities of Cebu Province. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, Vivant’s energy portfolio has grown to include holdings within and outside Cebu Province. These include, among others, acquisitions in power plant facilities, energy development and construction ventures as well as in the marketing and sale of hydroelectric power.
