Key Areas of Accountability:

Finance Responsibilities:

1.   Maintain close coordination with CFS (Corporate Finance Services) to ensure timely collection and achievement of DSO. Also handles review of expenses posted by CFS, conducts monthly/quarterly review of balance sheet accounts, and ensures reasonableness of all accruals.

2.   Assist to prepare a detailed monthly business review/Financial Plan/Update package, LBE and other financial reports required by the Region/Area HQ. Ensure that business and financial risks were considered during the planning and update.

3.   Maintain internal control systems to ensure that financial policies/procedures (both local and international) are adhered to.

4.   Monitor & control capital expenditures and SG&A ensuring expenses will be incurred within the approved Plan/LBE level

5.   Assist the Controller on reviewing price/deal requests from QTC.

6.   Assist the Country Manager on Adhoc requests/queries relating to sales.

Logistics Responsibilities:

Assist the Supply Chain Manager on below job responsibilities:

1.   Ensure inventory control is undertaken at an agreed level to be cost effective while meeting customer needs. Review inventory reports to perform pro-active control in cases of stock-outs and perform corrective measures in cases of surplus and expiring items.

2.   Ensure that customer orders, return goods and incoming goods are processed prior to BPCS closing. Coordinates with ADD and Corporate Finance on financial reporting required.

3.   Ensure that proper inventory control and process are in place to minimize exposure and to receive type 1 audit opinion for both internal and external audits.

4.   Ensure that a periodic cycle count is conducted to achieve accuracy of physical stocks and safeguard company assets. Also, ensure that an annual physical stock take is conducted based on existing local procedures with minimal inventory variances.

5.   Ensure compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue rules and regulations specifically on destruction of expired goods. Likewise, ensure a safety and healthy environment within the warehouse area specifically during physical destruction of expired stocks.

6.   Manage quarantined material due quality hold and quality related return shipments (reverse logistics).

7.   Coordinate the movements of instruments between labs and warehouse. Coordinate post of transactions, adjustment, transfers and destruction.

8.   Take lead the inventory adjustment in the system.

Job Specification

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Finance or business administration related fields
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience on Finance and Supply chain operations
  • Strong in Microsoft Office applications
  • Sound analytical abilities and great attention to detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
