JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or Industrial Engineering from a reputable University
- Professional license is necessary, and certification is a plus
- Newly passed professional to 1-year work experience preferably in transportation or manufacturing industry
- Experience in process improvements, operations audit, quality assurance, or project management is a plus
- Experienced with projects or activities (whether audit or process owner) related to infrastructure, processes, system development, and project risk management is a plus
- Working knowledge and understanding of controls, risk management, and governance processes and its link to the business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts interviews and walkthroughs then prepares narratives or flowchart to document the existing business processes and practices.
- Assists in identifying the gaps in control and/or deficiencies and lapses in the process.
- Contributes to developing audit objectives and audit programs.
- Performs test of design and operating effectiveness of operational and compliance controls within the company’s business process.
- Prepare audit working papers, memos, and the like.
- Drafts the audit observations to summarize the results of review conducted and recommends control measures and process improvements.
- Communicate or assist the Internal Audit management in communicating the results of the audit.
- Conduct physical observation and inspections of work sites.
- Interact with line management within the company as well as consultants, as needed.
- Develop and maintains productive client relationships through individual contact and group meetings.
