The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Bachelor's/College Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting.

Reporting functionally to the Finance Manager, the Finance Associate should be able to provide business partnerships with the Finance Manager and SAVP Finance Head in the following areas:
1. Collections
- Identifying and accounting collections received
- Ensuring that cash and checks collected are deposited within the day of receipt
- Issuing of official receipt for collection received
- Monitoring the receivables aging from affiliates and ensuring that there are no outstanding receivables
2. Receivables
- Monthly preparation of intercompany reconciliation
- Monthly preparation of statements of account
3. Cash position
- Preparing the annual budgeted statement of cash position
- Cash monitoring based on actual receipts on a weekly basis
- Tracking the placements to ensure the sufficiency of cash-to-fund requirements
- Preparing and monitoring the letters of instruction and other bank forms (e.g. RTGS, telegraphic transfer) for fund transfers
- Bank accounts maintenance to avoid dormancy (e.g. quarterly deposits to ensure movement in the account)
4. Treasury (Filinvest Development Corporation)
- Responsible for the placement of excess funds to short-term investments and custody of time deposit certificates
- Ensuring that all time deposits that need disposition are advised to the branch
- Preparing and collating bank requirements (e.g. bank account opening, updating of signature cards/bank forms, drafting of Sec. Cert., KYC requirements, and other documents)
- Filing of job orders in Sapphire for legal concerns/requests relative to the bank’s requirements
- Monitoring of cash balances to ensure the sufficiency of funding
- Weekly preparation of cash balance report
- Collating monthly bank statements
- Coordinating/liaising with banks
- Maintaining signatories database and bank contacts
5. Petty cash
- Securing custody of the petty cash funds
- Disbursement of petty cash for liquidation/payments
- Timely replenishment of petty cash funds
- Reconciliation of the petty cash account balance per books vs. actual cash on hand
- Preparation of journal vouchers for all cash-related transactions in IFCA PPlus every month
6. Finance
- Preparation of monthly credit report
- Preparation and updating of the loan amortization schedule
- Preparation of loan documents and other documents related to the renewal of credit facilities (e.g. promissory note, disclosure statement, draft Secretarys Certificate)
- Assistance in fundraising activities (e.g. bond issuance, equity offering, availing of loans, etc.)
- Assistance in the audit procedures of FDC (e.g. cash, loans, advances)
- Assistance in the preparation of Excom/BOD meeting materials
EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or any related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage but not required
- With at least 2-3 years of working experience in finance or accountancy-related field
