Job Summary:
Responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting data to help organizations make informed decisions. Play a pivotal role in translating raw data into actionable insights that drive business strategies and operational improvements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability. Clean, preprocess, and transform data to make it suitable for analysis.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and relationships within datasets. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and generate hypotheses.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present findings in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategies that align with business goals.
- Develop and apply predictive models to forecast future trends, outcomes, or behavior based on historical data.
- Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the analysis process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as business analysts, managers, and data engineers, to define data requirements and address analytical needs.
- Adhere to data privacy regulations and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of programming languages for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with database systems and data querying languages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
- Understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and other relevant techniques.
- Ability to approach problems logically, think critically, and develop creative solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Depending on the industry, familiarity with relevant business concepts and domain-specific knowledge can be beneficial.
- Thoroughness in data analysis and an eye for detail to ensure accurate results
- Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations when handling sensitive information.
- Preferably, 1 – 2 years of working experience in the field.
